Describe what happened after the impact
Say what the machine encountered, if you know, and what you noticed next. You don’t have to identify damage to report that it began vibrating or left snow on one side.
There could be an obstruction, a response from a protective part or damage that needs assessment. The impact alone doesn’t tell you which. The model information lets the person inspecting it check the design involved.
Follow your machine’s safety instructions. Don’t reach into an opening, force a mechanism or remove guards to see what happened. Share identifying details only if you already have them or can reach them safely.
If the machine is staying put after the impact, say that when you ask about a visit at home. Tell them where it is and what access is like so they can decide whether the first assessment can happen there.
The technical and safety advice in this draft still needs to be checked against the manufacturer’s instructions by a qualified reviewer. Follow your machine’s manual.
